True Friends.

Love this.

If you are reading this, you are probably one of the few
specific people I thought about when I read this.

Fwiend.

Recently, I have been thinking a LOT about the person in the photos below.  She has just been on my mind, so I decided to blog about it.
(yep, I spent a ridiculous amount of time stalking your Facebook to choose some pictures, it took forever because I love every single one of them. Creepy, but it's whatever.)

Isn't she BEAUTIFUL?  I mean seriously.  I can't even explain how much love and respect I have for her, and apparently, I can't even think of anything else to say.  Megan's example taught me so much, and her testimony strengthened mine.  She is honestly the reason why I am where I am today.  She saved me.
And I love her for FOREVER.  She's my sister and we had/have a connection unlike anything else.

I haven't seen you in SUCH a long time, Megs!   I hope this changes sometime very soon, because I miss you so dang much!
I love you.

Awkward-ness

Sometimes in my apartment, weird things happen.  I don't remember how we got into this situation....but my head was stuck, and she was squeezing it with her knees.  Oh how I LOVE HER.

And then other times, I like sitting in my apartment, in spandex and a tank top, eating s'mores.

Yes, I understand that in these pictures I am not perfectly modest.  It's called working out, coming home and being SUPER HOT and cooling off for a little bit before putting clothes back on.  Alright?  Kaythanks.

Froyo, Cream, and Tans.

There is this fantastic little frozen yogurt place in Rexburg!  It's WONDERFUL!!
No, I'm not talking about Twizzleberry.  Everybody, I'm talking about Kiwi Loco!
I am going to be broke by next week because I go there almost every day because it's just so dang good!

Usually, I go with my DEAR roommate, Kylei!

I haven't posted in such a "long" time!  I have lots to catch up on.

My roommates and I enjoy throwing whipped cream into the air to see if we can catch it in our mouths.

Jinelle!
We also go for bike rides at the park when it is beautiful outside.  Thank you Rexburg Weather for somewhat behaving!
We're on the same tiny bike! And we didn't crash while looking at the camera!
And last, but not least, we go to the new pool called Rexburg Rapids.  It is super fun!  There is a lazy river, and a water slide, and a whirlpool.  There's also an awesome pool-side rock wall thing! Nicole and I also tanned in the sun a little bit, it was very nice.

We decided that we actually didn't look too shabby for just getting out of a pool...  hahah

Life.

Right now, my life basically consists of homework, homework, studying, The BEATLES, Sammy's and CLOGGING.

I'm a Clogger, it's what I do, and I LOVE it.  Contrary to popular belief, it is NOT tap dancing.  Not even close, related, but not close.   "The term "clogging" comes from the heavy shoes once worn by the working people of Great Britain.  In Holland, Belgium and France, the dance was done with wooden shoes and today many people still believe that cloggers dance in wooden shoes.  Competitions were held and they danced on cobblestones with the upper body motionless while the feet and legs did all the work.  Present day cloggers use an oxford shoe with a special extra loud double steel tap.
Traditional Clogging is a flat foot shuffle unlike any other form of dance the body motion is down.  This is different from Step and Tap as their motion is up and the dance is done on the balls of the feet with much jumping or hopping.  Step and Clog are similar in their appearance as they both have little upper body movement.  However, clogging is generally more relaxed with no requirement for arms at all.  Tap uses the entire body with specific arm and body movements.
The differences between these dance forms are becoming more difficult to define.  The younger, more energetic clog dancer does a form of Clog called "Buck" and this looks very similar to Step and also borrows a lot of steps from Tap.  However, in traditional terms, clogging is a down motion with a lazy shuffle and of low impact while step dancing is an up motion with a lot of jumping and of high impact."

here is a tap shoe: these just have metal pieces on the toe and heel.

 Here are some clogging shoes:
See this?  This is the extra metal plate on the toe and heel of a clogging shoe.
I love clogging!  It's such a good work out, and when clogging, you don't realize how much physical activity you're actually doing.  It's the best thing in the world.
And I have to credit my love for Clogging to my old roommate Taylor.  She randomly came up to me Spring semester 2010, and asked me if I wanted to take a clogging class with her.  And I decided to do it, eh, because it couldn't hurt.  Best. Decision. I. Have. Ever. Made.
Thank you Taylor:)

And here's some pictures of Taylor and I after clogging for 3 hours.  Hot. Stuff.

Talent.

Saturday I went to Sammy's with Nicole and her fiance James, to see the Benton Paul concert, and he was amazing as always.  The concert was opened by some random chick, that I didn't really enjoy, and some guy from Provo named John Allred.  At first I was annoyed because I came to see BENTON PAUL!!  Not some random dude!
But let me tell you.  John Allred is probably the most talented human on this PLANET.  Oh my goodness, he is amazing.  I'm in love with his music, it's beautiful.  He played a cover of Hallelujah, and it is the best one out there.  I have heard lots of versions, and this one is to die for.  I could listen to it over and over and over again and never grow tired of it.  He's coming to Sammy's again July 8th, and I can guarantee I will be literally on stage with him.  I'M SO EXCITED.
I am in love.  Period.

Boredom.

I just want to show everyone what I did in church last week.  I forgot to take my meds, so I had an incredibly hard time concentrating.
This would be MY left had, three times.

This is what I do when I can't sit still.  And the best part about this is that after church, I was skyping a friend.  And he told me that he didn't go to church because he was driving home to Cali from Utah, or something like that.  This is how the conversation went.

Me: HEY! you wanna see what I did in church today?
Friend: yea, I didn't go to church, so I need something uplifting to make up for it.
Me:  *shows him ^ picture*
Friend: You would...

HAHAHAHA

Photographer

Nicole and James are getting MARRIED!  And I'm super excited.

Nicole's brother has a nice camera, and so instead of paying lots of money to get engagements taken, she asked me if I wanted to take the pictures.  OF COURSE I wanted to!
Oh my goodness. It was so much fun!   I loved being a photographer, even if it was just for a day and a half.  And I might add, that the pictures turned out really nice for a first time EVER "photographer."
I didn't really know what in the world I was doing, but I kinda got the hang of it after a while, and became more comfortable with trying new stuff.  These pictures didn't even really need any editing, I only changed the lighting because mostly, it was really dark.
Here's a few of my favorites.

You like?  I'm more than willing to take anyone else's pictures as well.  ;)
